Zeiss Rapid Z-800 Reticle
Designed exclusively for
Zeiss in cooperation with Pride Fowler Industries, Inc., the
Rapid-Z 800 Reticle allows for quick and easy target holdover in an uncomplicated, user-friendly format and also provide a simple to use range-estimation feature.
Rapid Z-800 Reticle has the added ability to perform quick range estimation through the use of a simple ranging bracket feature. The shooter will need to know the size of the target in relation to the brackets as well as have their scope set to the power that the reticle uses for range estimation and holdover point-of-aim. Once the target is bracketed, range estimation can be made and the shooter will be able to take aim on the target through the use of the holdover aiming points located on the vertical axis of the reticle.
Horizontal lines with yardage reference numbers indicating distances provide for accurate and easy holdover to rapidly engage targets at any distance within the capability of the reticle, riflescope and rifle being used. The
Rapid-Z 800 uses out to 800 yards. In addition to holdover reference points, the reticle has hold points for windage equating to 5 and 10 mph winds along the horizontal axis of the major yardage lines.
